Job summary

Securitas UK in Fleet, GU51 2UZ, is hiring a Security Officer to protect people, property and information while delivering exceptional service. You’ll patrol, monitor CCTV, control access and respond to incidents in line with site procedures.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, 18+ and a flexible shift pattern (nights and days, incl. weekends). 54 hours weekly at £13.97 per hour, with rotating days/nights at a technology-site environment.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• 5-year checkable employment history with gaps explained.
• No unspent criminal convictions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, professional and punctual with a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
• Must be aged 18 or over.

Responsibilities

We're Hiring: Security Officer

Location: Fleet, GU51 2UZ

Pay: £13.97 per hour

Hours: 54 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 5 on 3 off & 4 on 2 off

Shifts: 19:00 - 07:00 (Nights) & 07:00 - 19:00 (Days),Weekday shifts are all nights, every weekend working alternating days and nights.

Grade: 3.1 Site Based

We are looking for a professional Security Officer to join our team in Fleet. As a Security Officer, you will protect people, property, and assets while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a safe and secure environment. The Security Officer will work a rotating shift pattern, with all weekdays worked as nights and alternating day/night shifts at weekends.

As a Security Officer, you will protect people, property, and assets while delivering excellent customer service at a leading technology site. The Security Officer will carry out patrols, monitor security systems, control access, and respond to incidents in line with site procedures. The Security Officer must hold a valid SIA Licence and demonstrate Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness at all times.

Qualifications

Desirable

• Previous experience as a Security Officer or within the security industry.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
• A valid First Aid qualification.
