Job summary

Securitas UK is currently hiring a Security Officer in Bracknell. You will provide a professional security service, protect people and assets, and deliver outstanding customer service on a 4 on, 4 off night schedule, from 17:15 to 05:15. A valid SIA licence and UK work rights are essential.

The role involves patrols, monitoring CCTV and alarms, reporting incidents, and ensuring health and safety compliance while upholding our values of integrity, vigilance and helpfulness.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence or willingness to obtain one.

• 5-year checkable employment history.
• No unspent criminal convictions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular security patrols and site inspections.
• Protect people, property and assets from loss or unauthorised access.
• Monitor access points, alarms, CCTV and security systems.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies and safety concerns.
• Assist with emergency procedures, evacuations and searches.
• Maintain records, incident reports and shift handovers.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures and regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining safety and security.
• Uphold Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness in all duties.

As a Security Officer, you will provide a professional security service, protecting people, property, and assets while delivering exceptional customer service. Working at a leading global technology company, the Security Officer will help maintain a safe and secure environment that supports innovation across industries including energy, manufacturing, utilities, mining, life sciences, and infrastructure.

The Security Officer will operate in line with site procedures and customer requirements, conducting patrols, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Successful candidates will demonstrate the core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness at all times. A valid SIA Licence is required before commencing operational duties.
