Job summary

Securitas UK in Filton, Bristol BS34, is seeking a Security Officer to join our trusted team. You will cover 12-hour shifts across days, nights, and weekends, ensuring the safety of people, property, and information on site.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
• SIA Licence.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces (17.5-inch headspace).
• Proactive, self-motivated, & detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and emergencies on site.
• Manage access control and patrol key areas.
• Assist in safeguarding people and property.
• Operate and test security equipment; conduct routine checks.
• Maintain clear communication with team and clients.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Responding to medical incidents
• Being part of a highly trained Rescue Team for emergency situations
• Keeping the site safe - preventing unauthorised access
• Conducting internal & external security patrols
• Managing keys, locking & unlocking duties
• Traffic control, vehicle searches & enforcing parking rules
• Handling security equipment & carrying out routine tests
• Managing access control & issuing Hot Works permits
