Job summary

Nescot Enterprises Ltd is seeking an Early Years Supervisor for its nursery. The role involves delivering high quality childcare and education for all nursery children, and supporting day-to-day staffing and operations.

You will motivate and lead a team, maintain accurate records and observations, and ensure daily risk assessments are carried out. Working a compressed 37.5 hour week over four days, you will join a committed setting on a smoke-free campus.

Qualifications

• Experience working with 0-5 years age range.
• NNEB, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Early Years and Childcare Development.
• Ability to create and maintain timely accurate childcare records and observation records on staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality childcare and education for all nursery children.
• Assist in the day-to-day staffing, organisation and smooth running of the Nursery.
• Be accountable and proactive in the smooth running of your designated area of responsibility.
• Ensure risk assessments are completed daily within your area of designated responsibility.

• Ability to motivate and inspire a team, encourage working together and sharing good practice, always being open to the team's ideas and suggestions, making them feel valued and listened to
