Job summary

Securitas UK in Edinburgh is looking for a Security Officer to protect people and property while delivering excellent customer service. This full-time role offers a range of shifts, with 42 hours per week on a 4 on/4 off pattern.

You will join a team that values inclusivity and professional development, with opportunities to grow in a dynamic, security-focused environment. A valid SIA licence and physical fitness for patrols are required.

Responsibilities

• Active Patrols: Regularly patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity. Your vigilance will ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone
• Thorough Searches: Conduct detailed searches, following our comprehensive company policies and procedures. Your meticulous attention to detail will help keep our restricted areas safe
• Detailed Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork related to security incidents and observations
• Effective Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and various external authorities to report incidents and coordinate responses to security issues
• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy
