Job summary

Bridge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Security Manager to oversee a team of Security Officers at a busy shopping centre. Based on-site in Wandsworth, South West London, this role requires strong leadership, a valid SIA licence, and a proven track record in operational security and compliance.

You will coach staff, coordinate training, conduct investigations, maintain records, and ensure health and safety standards, while delivering high service levels and building strong relationships

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and support a team of Security Officers across the site.
• Conduct staff inductions and coordinate ongoing training and development.
• Manage performance, attendance, conduct, and employee relations matters in line with company procedure.
• Carry out investigations where required and maintain accurate records.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders, including the Police, Local Authorities, and other external partners.
• Complete operational audits and ensure compliance with contractual service standards.
• Monitor performance against agreed service levels and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed, including risk assessments and promotion of safe working practices.
• Support payroll administration and maintain accurate personnel records.
• Ensure all compliance requirements are met, including right-to-work checks, vetting, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records using internal systems and produce reports where required.
• Ensure compliance with statutory fire safety and health & safety regulations across the site.
