Job summary

SECOM Plc is seeking a Security Installation Engineer for our High Security Services division in Surrey. You will install and commission intruder alarms, IP CCTV, access control, and VMS platforms on high-security sites, following detailed drawings and specifications.

You will configure and test systems, perform quality checks, and ensure compliance with relevant standards while coordinating with project and service teams for smooth handovers and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience installing intruder alarms, IP CCTV, and access control systems is essential, ideally within high-security or regulated environments.
• A full UK driving licence is required, and knowledge of Galaxy, Pacom, and integrated VMS systems is highly desirable.
• You’ll be detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in liaising with stakeholders to ensure smooth handovers.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission high-security systems to specification across client sites.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and site plans; plan site activity with project and service teams.
• Configure systems, perform quality checks, and ensure compliance with standards and client expectations.
