Overview

First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Security Installation Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. The post requires reporting to Head Office in good time for briefings and departure on task at 0730 daily or 1930 at night. Daily activity briefs are generally delivered at 0715hrs.
2. You will be a member of a small (2-person) team completing installations within high-security environments, often in the aviation transport and education sectors.
3. Normal hours are 07:30 to 16:30; however, flexibility to work night shifts from Sunday to Friday may be required.
4. Communicate effectively with clients, handle enquiries, and deliver high standards of customer service professionally.
5. Report to the Project Manager daily to update on job progress and submit written reports.
6. Conduct installations following current company and security protocols, as directed by the team supervisor.
7. Complete project installation paperwork and individual timesheets promptly each day.
8. Maintain tools, uniform, PPE, and equipment issued, ensuring they are clean and functional, including company vehicles.
9. Adhere to company and site health, safety, and environmental procedures.
10. Report dangerous occurrences or incidents internally and externally.
11. Undertake supplier and specialist training as directed for career development.
12. Perform additional duties as requested by management for the company's benefit.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Clean employment record with security clearance.

• Valid CSCS card.
• Experience with intruder systems.
• Experience with access control systems.
• Experience with CCTV systems and data installations.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• IPAF, Pasma, and confined space certifications.
