Job summary

Serco Limited is seeking a vigilant Security Guard to protect critical infrastructure under the Skynet contract. You will patrol, escort, perform security checks, monitor CCTV and access control, and maintain detailed records to support UK Government and Armed Forces operations.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence (manual) required.
• Valid UK Passport required.
• Ability to achieve Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Strong attention to detail and timekeeping.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first line of defence in support of the site mission
• Carry out patrols and escort duties across the site
• Conduct vehicle and baggage searches
• Issue and receive keys and maintain accurate records
• Monitor CCTV, intrusion detection systems and entry control systems
• Process visitors and maintain secure site access
• Complete detailed reports and maintain clear documentation
• Liaise with other security personnel and external agencies
• Support ongoing training and development activities
