Job summary

Babcock International is hiring a Security Guard for our Plymouth, Devon site. You will provide a professional security service, control access to secure facilities, and support compliance with MoD security requirements.

This full-time role involves patrolling, responding to incidents, and working a rotating shift pattern on a 35-hour average week. A driving licence and SIA licence are essential, with SC clearance required.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain SC security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Control access to secure facilities and verify personnel, visitors and contractors.
• Respond to emergencies including medical incidents, fire alarms and security-related events.
• Collaborate with security colleagues, site personnel and MoD stakeholders to maintain a safe environment.
• Conduct scheduled and random patrols across designated areas on foot and by vehicle.
• Report suspicious activity and security incidents per procedures.
