Job summary

Copello Global Ltd is seeking an experienced security leader to take ownership of security and estates across a complex, security-sensitive environment. This broad, hands-on role combines physical, personnel and cyber security coordination with facilities management.

You will shape security arrangements, manage operational risk and lead a small team protecting people, assets and critical infrastructure, while engaging senior stakeholders to strengthen resilience and business continuity.

Job description

Working pattern: Hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days per week on site

Security Clearance: Can start with SC, but need to be eligible and willing to obtain DV clearance.

Copello are currently working with a specialist organisation looking for an experienced security professional to lead its security and estates function.

This is a broad, hands on leadership position combining physical security, personnel security, cyber security coordination and facilities management. You'll have the opportunity to shape security arrangements, manage operational risk and lead a small team responsible for protecting people, assets and critical infrastructure.

What will you be responsible for?

• Leading physical security and protective security arrangements across a complex site.
• Overseeing security requirements within data centre and critical facilities environments.
• Managing a small team across security and estates functions.
• Coordinating security risk management, incident response and investigations.
• Overseeing facilities contracts, contractors and building improvement projects.
• Working with senior stakeholders to strengthen security, resilience and business continuity.

What are we looking for?

Someone who can combine practical security expertise with leadership and sound commercial judgement.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience designing and implementing physical security measures within complex or secure facilities.
• A background in data centres, critical infrastructure, defence, government or similarly regulated environments.
• Experience leading security professionals and managing external contractors.
• Knowledge of security risk, incident management and facilities operations.
• A relevant security qualification or professional membership, or equivalent experience.
• The discretion, integrity and judgement required to operate in a sensitive environment.
