Job summary

Trevett Project Services is seeking an experienced Fire/Security/FM leader to own operational safety across a complex estate. You will manage fire/safety, CCTV, access control, and incident response while coordinating with contractors and senior stakeholders.

Applicants should have NEBOSH Fire Certificate and SIA accreditation or willingness to obtain them, with a strong track record in multi-building environments and contractor oversight.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Fire/Security or FM within multi-building environments.
• Strong knowledge of fire legislation and physical/electronic security systems.
• NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent is essential; SIA accreditation or willingness to obtain it.
• Proven contractor management skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take operational ownership of fire safety, physical security, and emergency resilience across a complex estate.
• Oversee performance and compliance of fire alarms, emergency lighting, CCTV, access control, and intruder detection.
• Manage specialist contractors and the c.£350k security services contract.
• Coordinate fire drills, emergency response, and business continuity exercises.
• Maintain compliance evidence and audits; liaise with Fire & Rescue, Police and other statutory bodies.
• Lead as a trusted FM professional, working with senior stakeholders to protect people and facilities.

Job description

An interesting opportunity to take operational ownership of fire safety, physical security and emergency resilience across a complex estate. This is a hands-on management role with genuine autonomy, covering everything from fire and life-safety systems through to CCTV, access control, guarding and incident response.

You'll lead the performance and compliance of fire alarms, emergency lighting, CCTV, access control and intruder detection, whilst managing specialist contractors and the c.£350k security services contract. You'll also coordinate fire drills, emergency response and business continuity exercises, manage compliance evidence and audits, and liaise with Fire & Rescue, Police and other statutory bodies.

We're looking for: an experienced Fire/Security or FM professional from a complex multi-building environment, with strong knowledge of fire legislation and physical/electronic security systems. A NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent is essential, together with SIA accreditation or the willingness to obtain it. Strong contractor management experience and the ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders are key.
