Job summary

SEFE Securing Energy for Europe GmbH in London seeks a Security Engineer to embed secure-by-design practices across platforms. You will work in the Security Platforms & Architecture team, delivering hands-on security engineering, platform improvements, and pragmatic controls to strengthen security posture.

You will collaborate with programme teams, conduct design reviews and threat modelling, provide security assurance, and drive improvements across security engineering and platform operations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering secure-by-design outcomes in complex tech environments.
• Ability to assess architectures and perform threat modelling.
• Familiarity with security platforms, governance, and go-live security reviews.

Responsibilities

• Embed secure-by-design principles from inception to implementation.
• Conduct security design reviews and threat modelling to identify risks and mitigations.
• Provide security assurance across initiatives and support governance and go-live reviews.
• Manage and enhance Microsoft-focused security platforms and integrations.
• Coordinate security platform support, vendor engagement, and platform improvements.
• Develop security standards, templates, and best practices for engineering and operations.
