Job summary

Client Server Limited is seeking a Security Engineer (Detection) in London with a hybrid WFH policy. The role focuses on building and maturing detection engineering, triaging security alerts, and aligning detection with security frameworks such as NIST.

You will work in a global asset management environment, contribute to log sources expansion, and support shift-left security with development teams. London office 2–3 days weekly, with remote work options.

Qualifications

• Experience as a security engineer with detection focus and L3 incident handling.
• Strong fundamentals in Windows and Linux OS.
• Automation and scripting to improve security tooling and detection.
• Degree in a STEM discipline with 2.1 or above.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and triage security alerts, including AI-driven tooling.
• Develop detection approaches and mature detection engineering capability.
• Align detection with frameworks such as NIST.
• Drive shift-left security with development teams.
