Job summary

4way Recruitment Ltd in Stockport is seeking a Security Service and Small Works Engineer to install, service and commission Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems across multiple sectors.

The role requires a minimum of five years’ hands-on experience, strong fault-finding skills, a full UK driving licence, and eligibility for enhanced security screening; overtime and a van are provided, travel time paid, and 25 days holiday are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience commissioning and servicing Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sectors (commercial, residential, public, retail).
• Strong fault-finding and system servicing skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence preferred).
• Must be eligible for enhanced security screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and commission Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Diagnose faults and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Service Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Provide excellent customer service on-site and over the phone.
• Participate in the on-call rota.

Salary Bracket: £40,000

On target earnings (OTE): £50,000+

Salary and Benefits - Security Service and Small Works Engineer

• Basic Salary: Up to £40,000 (Depending on Experience)
• Travel Time Paid: Door to Door Travel
• Annual Leave: 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
• Overtime: Monday to Friday, Standard Rate / Saturday, Time & Half / Sunday, Double Time
• Vehicle: Van + Personal Use

Key Responsibilities – Security Service and Small Works Engineer
