Job summary

Get Staff is seeking an experienced Security Systems Engineer to service CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems across Suffolk. The role covers on-site work with Monday to Friday hours and includes overtime, a joining on-call rota, a company van and uniform.

A full UK driving licence and a professional, customer-focused approach are essential. We offer on‑site roles with ongoing training, including automated door systems.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing IP CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Carrying out occasional small works and system installations.
• Covering customer sites across Suffolk, with most work based within the county.
• Participating in a 1-in-4 on-call rota.
• Delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Security Systems Engineer – Suffolk – £37,000 basic per annum + Overtime + On‑Call Payments

• £37,000 basic salary.
• Overtime available, paid at 1.5x or 2x depending on when it is worked.
• On‑call rota paid at £210 standby per week, plus double time for every telephone support call or site attendance.
• Monday to Friday working hours.

• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
