Job summary

Wipro in London is seeking a Security Engineer to join the Cyber Defence Centre, providing technical and functional support for DLG security tools and services, ensuring high-quality security services and maintaining controls.

You will work with Threat Intelligence teams to bolster protections, improve SIEM coverage, and act as SME for securing DLG environments, aligning with PCI/DSS and security architecture standards.

Qualifications

As a Security Engineer at Wipro, you will be an integral part of the Security Engineering team within the Cyber Defence Centre, reporting directly to the Security Engineering Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical and functional support for DLG security tools and services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality security services and maintaining the effectiveness of security controls against both current and emerging threats identified by our Threat Intelligence and Operational Security teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the overall security integrity of DLGâs environment.
  • Enhance secure, continuous integration pipelines by collaborating closely with developers to advise on best practices.
  • Support the delivery of projects and change programs, ensuring alignment with the security architecture framework and compliance with information security fundamentals.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for securing DLGâs environments in line with compliance commitments.
  • Ensure security technical platforms are configured to optimize overall security for DLG.
  • Improve SIEM coverage across DLGâs environment.
  • Review and approve all changes to the production environment to ensure security measures are upheld.
  • Communicate effectively and build relationships at various levels, discussing technical concepts with suppliers and project managers alike.
  • Develop technical security standards and ensure all changes comply with network security architecture and regulatory requirements, including PCI/DSS.
