Job summary

HSB Technical is seeking an Intruder Alarm Installation Engineer in the Cambridgeshire area. The role focuses on installation, maintenance and servicing of intruder alarm systems across commercial and residential sites, with fault finding and ensuring standards.

You will work on a rota for on-call, with overtime opportunities and travel time paid; salary £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience, plus overtime and call-out.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing and servicing intruder alarm systems.
• Knowledge of Risco systems would be advantageous.
• Experience fault finding within electronic security systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Installation of intruder alarm systems across a variety of client sites.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and servicing of security systems.
• Attending breakdowns and call-outs as part of a rota.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults across security systems.
• Carrying out small associated electrical remedial works where required.
