SER Limited is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to cover the Basingstoke, Reading, Oxford, Slough, Woking, and West Berkshire areas in the UK. You will install, service and maintain CCTV, intruder alarm, and access control systems across varied client sites, and undertake fault diagnosis with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Ideal candidates have a solid background in installing and fault-finding electronic security systems, a full UK driving license, and relevant certifications.

• Proven experience installing, servicing and fault-finding electronic security systems.
• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Relevant industry certifications or demonstrable technical skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Complete small works, including upgrades, modifications and system expansions.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our dynamic team, covering the Basingstoke, Reading, Oxford, Slough, Woking, and West Berkshire areas. Experience with systems such as Axis, Hanwha, Galaxy, Texecom, and Paxton is highly desirable. Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain CCTV, intruder alarm, and access control systems across various client sites.

• Work with a range of security systems including Axis, Hanwha, Galaxy, Texecom, and Paxton, ensuring compatibility and optimal operation.

• Accurately complete service documentation and reports, maintaining detailed records of all work carried out.
• Manage your own workload effectively, working independently on-site while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Participate in a 1-in-5 call-out rota, providing standby support and ensuring prompt response to urgent service requests.
