Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident IT skills including Microsoft Office and business applications.
• Experience in security, emergency services, medical response or fire and rescue environments.
• Breathing Apparatus qualification under National Occupational Standards (NOS) is advantageous.
• First Responder Emergency Care (FREC) Level 3 or higher is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver security, fire, medical and environmental emergency response activities across site.
• Respond to incidents, carry out investigations and produce clear, accurate reports.
• Conduct active surveillance, patrols, audits and preventative safety activities.
• Operate control room systems and support incident command and control procedures.
• Maintain specialist operational competencies and ensure equipment and compliance standards.

As a Security & Emergency Operations Officer, you’ll play a vital role in helping safeguard the future of JLR while developing specialist emergency response capabilities within a high-performing team.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You’ll join Corporate Security & Business Protection, a team dedicated to protecting JLR’s people, operations and assets. Working across a dynamic fast paced environment, you’ll help deliver security and emergency response services while collaborating with colleagues, contractors and external agencies. Here’s what to expect:

• Delivering security, fire, medical and environmental emergency response activities across site
• Responding to incidents, carrying out investigations and producing clear, accurate reports
• Conducting active surveillance operations, patrols, audits and preventative safety activities
• Operating control room systems and supporting incident command and control procedures
• Maintaining specialist operational competencies, equipment standards and compliance requirements

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills and qualifications that you’ll need to help you succeed here, including:

• Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Using IT systems confidently, including Microsoft Office and other business applications
• Working effectively in customer-facing environments while influencing and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
• Experience within security, emergency services, medical response or fire and rescue environments, alongside a Breathing Apparatus qualification underpinned by National Occupational
• Standards and a First Responder Emergency Care (FREC) Level 3 qualification or higher, would be advantageous
• Full UK driving licence

We are looking to recruit 3 roles based across the West Midlands JLR sites.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application, as this role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
