Job summary

Careers Jaguar Land Rover seeks a Deputy Venue Manager for the Eastnor Castle Estate venue. You will support the Venue Manager in daily operations, oversee staff, drive engagement and ensure exceptional guest experiences across driving and non-driving events for internal and external customers.

The role requires managing relationships with stakeholders, leading safety and compliance, and contributing to budgeting and planning to optimise venue performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Venue Manager in the daily operation of the venue, including managing administration staff and driving staff engagement.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver venue objectives.
• Oversee operational procedures, financial reconciliations, and audit compliance.
• Lead health and safety activities on site and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage daily resource and manpower planning to meet staffing needs.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and business planning to balance demand with resources.

As a Deputy Venue Manager here at JLR, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences at our iconic Eastnor Castle Estate venue, supporting the day-to-day operation of world-class driving and non-driving events for both internal and external customers. Working alongside a large team of instructors and event support colleagues, you'll help bring the JLR house of brands to life while driving operational excellence, commercial performance, and unforgettable guest experiences as we shape the future of modern, electrified mobility. The role will require you to work every other Saturday which will be paid as overtime. WHAT TO EXPECT In this role, no two days are the same. • Confidently support the Venue Manager in the daily operation of the venue, including managing administration staff, maintaining standards, and driving staff engagement and performance
• Maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of venue objectives
• Maintain operational procedures, financial reconciliations, and compliance with JLR audit requirements
• Lead health and safety activities on site, including emergency response procedures, compliance requirements, and operational standards
• Manage daily resource and manpower planning, ensuring staffing requirements are met and operational reporting is maintained
• Support future forecasting and business planning, balancing customer demand with available resources, budgets, and supplier requirements
• Assist with customer experience metrics, business reviews, financial planning, and continuous improvement activities to support venue performance
