Job summary

Momentum Security Recruitment is seeking a security administrator to join the estate security team on-site in Basildon. The role focuses on operational delivery of security services, coordination of projects, and contractor management.

The candidate will support compliance with UK Government security requirements, maintain procedures, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure SLA/KPI achievement and site clearances. Strong IT skills and proactive process improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in security administration with understanding of MOD and UKSV procedures.
• Excellent collaboration and proactive process improvement.
• Strong administration and IT skills.
• Ability to achieve SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operational delivery of security across the estate.
• Oversee the delivery of security systems including management of 3rd party providers
• Co-ordinate the delivery of special projects
• Help to create and maintain security culture in line with UK Government Security requirements
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with UK Government Security Policy Frameworks
• Maintenance of all security procedures and implementation of policies
• Ensure that contract SLA’s and KPI’s are met and exceeded
• Manage security clearances for the site.
• Monitor the 3rd party supplier provision of security services including manned guarding and security system maintenance
• Support all awareness, education and training related to security
• Provide data and reporting on all security activities
