Job summary

Momentum Security Recruitment in Basildon, Essex is seeking a Security Manager / Security Co-ordinator. The role combines operational leadership, project support, compliance and contractor management to deliver on-site security services.

Responsibilities include overseeing security systems, coordinating special projects, maintaining security policies, ensuring SLAs/KPIs are met, liaising with stakeholders, and providing security data and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in security management or related military/police background.

• Ability to achieve SC clearance.

Security Manager / Security Co-ordinator

Salary: £41,700

Location: Basildon, Essex

Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours a week)

As part of the security management team this role plays an integral part in the co-ordination and delivery of on-site security services and associated projects. Your role will combine operational leadership, project support, compliance and contractor/supplier management.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• We are looking for a security professional with strong administration and co-ordination skills. You could be a security manager looking for a new role or have relevant military/Police experience.
• Positive and professional attitude with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Proactive with the ability to identify process improvement and implement any changes.
• Strong administration and IT skills
• Have the ability to achieve SC clearance

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the operational delivery of security across the estate.
• Oversee the delivery of security systems including management of 3rd party providers
• Co-ordinate the delivery of special projects
• Help to create and maintain security culture in line with UK Government Security requirements
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with UK Government Security Policy Frameworks
