Qualifications

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an accustomed Global Operations Centre Controller to detect and prevent accidents, crimes and incidents happening on one of our esteemed sites.
You will be working an average of 42 hours per week. Shift pattern will be 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights. Day shifts will be 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00.

What you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential
  • A valid First-Aid Certificate - essential
  • A valid CCTV License - desirable
  • A Full UK Driving License - desirable
  • Previous control room and CCTV system experience - desirable
  • Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
  • Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards

What are you going to do:

  • Identifying threats and report on suspicious activity in line with daily operations.
  • Ensure integrity of site data information.
  • Ensure a full and precise handover is carried out with the oncoming shift.
  • To protect client's property, personnel and assets.
  • Liaising with remote locations to inform of any security incidents.
  • Make appropriate use of C-Cure system to print reports or monitor card activity.
  • Monitor access using the C-Cure, barrier intercom and CCTV System, reporting any faults.
  • Monitor and manage access to the car park for deliveries and visitors.
  • To be fully conversant and understand all the GOC post instructions including all remote and exec alarm response protocols.
  • Conduct internal and external patrols at appropriate intervals.
  • Conducting random ID checks on employees to ensure compliance with site standards.
  • Be fully observant with the Site Incident Management plans and support the management evacuations.
  • Responsible for the audit of First Aid boxes and AEDs.
  • Ensure safety of all persons on site.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
