Job summary

SSR Personnel seeks a Security Officer for a Central London posting, offering a starting salary of £40,000 plus benefits. You will join a growing in-house security team focused on risk triage, CCTV monitoring, and 24/7 site coverage.

The role requires SIA licence, strong English communication, and a willingness to work 3-day/3-night/3-off rotations. Local travel to London sites may be required and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• SIA licence required and up to date.
• Knowledge of London area is advantageous.
• Security experience in control room operations preferred.
• First Aid at Work certification ideal.
• Good written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Ops Control Room triage, monitoring and risk assessment.
• Alarm and CCTV response and escalation per protocol.
• Internal and external patrols at client locations as needed.
• Lock/unlock procedures and site security checks.
• Clear shift handovers and incident logging.
• Support learning and development within the team.
• Cover additional shifts to maintain security coverage.
