Job summary

Vaultex UK Ltd seeks a Security Officer to support the day-to-day operations of the Security Control environment across five sites, under the Centralised Control Room. You will welcome visitors, manage on-site visitors and deliveries, and uphold Vaultex security procedures.

You will perform daily security checks, monitor CCTV and alarms, and assist with health and safety tests while recording information accurately. Training is provided for required procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in security; control room experience is an advantage, training provided.
• Good computer literacy and confident communication.
• Flexible, well organised and able to multi-task.
• Excellent observation skills and time keeping.

Responsibilities

• Act in the day to day running of a Security Control environment across 5 sites under the Vaultex Centralised Control Room.
• Be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, presenting a professional image.
• Carry out daily security checks to minimise site risk and manage visitors, contractors and deliveries.
• Maintain perimeter checks and security procedures including searches where required.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems; assist with alarm and fire safety tests.
• Record information accurately in line with Vaultex processes.
• Assist with general building maintenance and health & safety issues.
• Coordinate with security officers across sites and remote control rooms.
• Perform daily duties as directed by leadership.
