Job summary

Oakpark Security Systems LTD is seeking a Security Officer to join our Security Services team in Colchester. The role covers both control room and on-site mobile response, with a 42-hour average week and a focus on safeguarding sites and rapid incident response.

You will monitor CCTV and alarms, maintain shift handovers, and ensure customer SLAs are met while upholding Oakpark standards in a professional manner. A valid SIA licence must be displayed on duty.

Qualifications

• Experience in Helpdesk, Call Centre or Control Room operations is desirable.
• Computer literate with MS Office and bespoke software packages.
• Solid organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a strong teamwork ethic.

Responsibilities

• Answering of incoming phone calls into the main Operations Control Room.
• Respond to incidents when they happen.
• Patrol and make sure all facilities are secure.
• Monitoring and actioning emails that come into the Operations Control Room.
