Job summary

Salt is seeking a DV cleared QA Engineer with strong automation experience to join a global team delivering critical services in the UK. The role is on-site five days a week at London, Manchester, Ipswich or Cheltenham, focusing on building robust automated tests and API testing.

You'll work hands-on writing and maintaining automated tests, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and driving quality across engineering teams. DV clearance or eligibility is required.

DV Cleared, QA Engineer, Automation, On Site 5 days a week at any of the following location; London, Manchester, Ipswich or Cheltenham.

A global firm are looking for a DV Cleared QA Engineer with strong automation experience to work on technology that supports some of the UK's most critical services.

You'll be hands-on - writing and maintaining automated tests, testing APIs and integrations, investigating defects and helping engineering teams build quality in from the start.

You'll be doing things like:

• Building and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites
• Functional, integration and regression testing
• API and end-to-end testing
• Working with CI/CD pipelines and development teams
• Investigating issues and driving defects through to resolution
• Improving testing processes, tooling and automation

You'll bring:

• Active DV clearance or eligibility to obtain DV
• Solid commercial QA/testing experience
• Strong test automation skills
• Experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured or similar
• Good understanding of CI/CD and modern testing practices
• A curious, hands-on approach to problem solving

Experience in secure, regulated or mission-critical environments is a bonus, not a must.
