Job summary

BT Group in London is seeking an Obsolescence Management Specialist to lead the obsolescence strategy for secure programmes. You will develop and maintain ILS documentation, collaborate with design engineering teams, and liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure robust obsolescence services.

The role requires experience with IEC 62402, Def Stan 00-600, JSP 886, and related standards, along with strong MS Office skills and DV security clearance familiarity.

Qualifications

• Experience writing technical ILS documentation for secure programmes.
• Working knowledge of industry standards including IEC 62402, SD-22, Def Stan 00-600, the DLF and JSP 886.
• Significant experience with obsolescence management programmes.
• Ability to collaborate with Design Engineering Teams and customers/partners.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of obsolescence management for the programme including documentation and plans.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks and regular reporting on OMP.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide obsolescence services.
