Job summary

Thales UK is seeking an Obsolescence Manager for the UK Services team in a hybrid role based in Crawley. The job aims to minimise obsolescence risk across lifecycles and deliver coherent Obsolescence Plans and Reports on time and within budget.

You will interface with Engineering, Project teams and customers, manage Work Packages, monitor strategies, and report progress to Project Managers while ensuring security compliance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or HND in a numerate discipline.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, with macros and advanced Excel functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Issue obsolescence deliverables on time and within budget.
• Manage Work Package budgets and resources.
• Define and maintain obsolescence strategy across project equipment.
• Report progress to Project Manager and Functional Management.
• Monitor obsolescence risks and coordinate mitigation activities.
