Job summary

Synergize Consulting Ltd is seeking a Software Engineer with aerospace, aircraft or flight systems experience to join a major Defence prime on a MOD programme.

You will develop and integrate software for safety- and mission-critical aerospace environments, contributing to AI and autonomous drone initiatives.

Based in Berkshire with 2–3 days on-site, the role is a mid-term contract inside IR35, rate up to £80 per hour and requires current UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• Software Engineer with proven software engineering experience within the aerospace, aircraft, aviation or flight systems industries, or a closely related engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate software for safety- and mission-critical aerospace environments.
• Contribute to AI, autonomous drone initiatives and next-generation aerospace capabilities.
• Work within multidisciplinary engineering teams on a challenging defence programme.
