IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale initiatives across public and private sectors. You will govern scope, schedule, budget and quality, and manage cross-functional teams to deliver value.

The role emphasizes strong communication, governance and the ability to operate in environments of ambiguity, with Hybrid delivery experience and collaboration with suppliers and partners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior business and tech stakeholders.
• Experience across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Excellent governance, planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation and planning through to implementation and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and milestones.
• Manage budgets, resources and forecasts with financial control.
• Identify, assess and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
• Establish governance, reporting and controls for projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure clear ownership of activities.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and provide progress updates.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops and governance forums as required.
• Monitor progress against milestones, scope, budget and quality.
• Handle changes through change-control processes.
• Ensure project documentation is maintained accurately.
• Collaborate with suppliers/partners on deliverables and performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and ways of working.
• Ensure testing, implementation and transition activities are completed.
• Lead project closure activities and lessons learned.
