Qoria is seeking a Security Software Engineer to join the Security & Trust team in the UK. You will translate security and compliance requirements into automated controls, build pipelines, and develop continuous monitoring across cloud environments.

You should have 3-5+ years in software engineering, strong Python skills, and hands-on AWS experience. Expect an automation-first, autonomous role with collaboration across engineering and security teams.

Qualificações

• 3-5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in security, infrastructure, backend, Devops or platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python (or a similar language), including production-quality, tested code and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including IAM, networking, and security groups.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automation-first mindset with ability to eliminate manual processes.
• Curious, builder’s mindset, able to stand up new systems and drive projects autonomously.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with non-engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Translate security and compliance requirements into automated technical controls using policy-as-code in CI/CD and IaC.
• Build pipelines and integrations to collect compliance evidence from internal systems for live audits.
• Develop continuous monitoring for security controls and cloud environments; integrate with GRC tooling like Vanta.
• Apply AI and automation to streamline compliance workflows and evidence gathering.
• Contribute to the Common Control Framework to support audits, risk assessments, and vendor reviews.
• Build tooling and workflows to improve reporting and reduce compliance burden on engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Security Assurance Manager and cross-functional teams to embed security and compliance into workflows.
