Job summary

Parkdean Resorts UK Limited is seeking an Assistant Security Manager to lead and develop a security team across its UK parks. You will support the Security Manager daily, mentor staff, and promote a proactive security culture to ensure guests enjoy a safe, welcoming environment from arrival onward.

The role requires an SIA license, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

• Current SIA license (Minimum Door Supervision) and full clean UK driving licence (Manual)
• Excellent customer service skills and confident to communicate and influence
• Ability to drive positive security culture within a team and help to develop the team
• Commercial awareness with ability to manage a budget and rota
• Able to manage a high pressure, fast paced work environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning resource levels to ensure the park has the required level of security
• Utilise team members to patrol the park, providing a deterrent and preventing incidents
• Ensure compliance with security assignment instructions
• Manage incidents and situations, ensuring correct escalation and reporting
• Manage security technology and CCTV
• Review security data using on-park systems
• Carry out full, unbiased investigations with detailed statements and reports
• Identify security vulnerabilities and risks to the park
• Liaise with local enforcement authorities for inspections and investigations
• Attend Management and Regional Meetings to promote security awareness
• Promote security awareness to colleagues

Job description

Step into a key leadership role as our new Assistant Security Manager, where you’ll help guide a dedicated security team and play a vital part in creating a safe, welcoming environment for every guest. You’ll support the Security Manager day-to-day, while also helping to train, mentor, and elevate the wider team - ensuring our customers enjoy the very best experience from the moment they arrive on park.

What you will be doing...

• Attending Management and Regional Meetings to promote security awareness to colleagues when necessary.
• Promoting security awareness to colleagues.

About you...
