Job summary

BT Group is seeking a Security Design & Implementation Specialist to join our Architecture Solution and Design team. You’ll deliver high‑quality security designs for banking customers from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with security strategy and compliance objectives.

You’ll leverage broad security and networking expertise, lead workshops, and provide technical leadership onsite with clients, while collaborating with Delivery and Operational teams to hand over successful

Qualifications

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with customers' technical teams and leadership.
Experience delivering large-scale, complex security or infrastructure projects from requirements through design and handover.
Design and implement security solutions across cloud and hybrid environments with modern security architectures.

Responsibilities

Provide technical security leadership across a strategic banking customer contract.
Act as security design and implementation authority for complex security solutions and platform architectures.
Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and related security processes and standards.
Establish strong onsite presence with customers and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
Work with customers to address threat landscape, risk, and regulatory obligations.
