Job summary

Atos is recruiting a Security Architect to embed secure-by-design across UK programmes. You will lead security architecture, risk assessments and threat modelling for complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with national importance.

You will engage business leaders, drive governance and strategy, and mentor teams while operating in a hybrid model with client-site presence in Birmingham and surrounding delivery sites.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Information Security, Cyber Security Architecture or Solution Architecture.
• Experience designing secure enterprise, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience performing threat modelling and security risk assessments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience within regulated industries (Government, Critical National Infrastructure, Financial Services, Healthcare etc.).
• Knowledge of OT/ICS security environments.
• Experience supporting bids, proposals and customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security architectures, patterns, standards and reference designs.
• Review and assure solution designs for security-by-design compliance.
• Produce and review High-Level Designs (HLDs).
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, risk appetite and security strategy.
• Conduct threat modelling exercises using recognized methodologies (e.g. STRIDE, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Perform security risk assessments for new and existing services.
• Identify vulnerabilities, threats and control gaps with mitigation activities.
• Support risk management processes and risk-based decision making.
