Job summary

EMBS Engineering is seeking a Solutions Architect / Technical Pre-Sales specialist to bridge commercial engagement and technical delivery. The role is hybrid with UK travel across Midlands and the South, offering a salary of £70-90K plus car allowance and benefits.

You will design secure networking solutions and guide customers from early engagement through to deliverable architectures. You’ll work closely with Business Development and Engineering, translating complex requirements into practical

Qualifications

• Strong background in secure networking or secure communications.
• Experience designing and delivering complex technical solutions.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles (pre-sales/consultancy).
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and challenges.
• Support pre-sales by providing technical expertise throughout the process.
• Design secure networking solutions that meet customer needs.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops and product demonstrations.
• Translate requirements into practical, deliverable architectures.
• Identify risks and implementation considerations early in the sales cycle.
• Support proposals, bids and tender responses.
• Act as the technical link between customers, commercial teams and engineering.
• Provide guidance during pre- and post-sales engagements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies to shape future solutions.
