Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified nurse or paramedic to join an integrated healthcare model within an immigration removal centre. The role emphasizes autonomous patient care, emergency response, and multidisciplinary collaboration to deliver safe and effective health services.

The successful candidate will work closely with residents, the clinical team, and external agencies, with an emphasis on compassionate, person-centred care and adherence to policy

Formación

• Qualified nurse or paramedic with registration and current practice
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-level environment
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and emergency response handling

Responsabilidades

• Assess and manage residents' care autonomously in a secure setting
• Attend emergencies, triage using NEWS2 and coordinate with teams
• Maintain accurate contemporaneous health records
• Administer medications following NHFT policies
• Participate in MDT meetings and provide care advice for complex cases
• Contribute to clinical governance, audits and data collection
• Conduct risk assessments and respond to potential self-harm or harm to others
• Ensure use of electronic record systems to reflect nursing practice
• Work within immigration removal centre with respect for residents and collaboration with agencies
