Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) seeks a registered nurse to join our community and mental health teams across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. You will undertake holistic assessments, develop care plans and work within MDTs to deliver high quality care in the community setting.

Requirements include RGN Level 1/2 registration, evidence of professional development and a flexible, team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• RGN Level 1 or Level 2 registration.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Desirable mentorship qualification or equivalent.
• Community experience as part of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Be professionally and legally accountable for your own and delegated work.
• Work within codes of practice and professional guidelines.
• Undertake holistic assessment using clinical reasoning skills.
• Use evidence-based practice to ensure effective care.
• Promote independence and reduce inpatient length of stay where possible.
• Contribute to risk assessments and health and safety assessments and report risks.
• Communicate effectively with patients, carers and colleagues.
• Work within the MDT and attend MDT meetings.
• Ensure accurate and timely written records in line with policy and guidance.
