DrPA Secure is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join its multidisciplinary healthcare team within a secure prison environment. You will provide high-quality primary care services to a diverse patient population in Campsfield IRC, NHS England contracted setting.

The role focuses on comprehensive GP services, chronic disease management, safeguarding, and collaborative care with nursing and mental health colleagues, with a locum arrangement and a session-based salary of £350 per session.

Qualifikationen

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and licence to practise.
• Experience in primary care with strong clinical decision‑making and patient management.
• Understanding of safeguarding and healthcare delivery in secure environments.

Aufgaben

• Provide full GP services including consultations, assessments, treatment, and referrals.
• Manage chronic diseases and acute presentations; address mental health needs.
• Support detox pathways and substance misuse management; work with nursing and other healthcare staff.
• Contribute to clinical audits, governance and maintain records in the prison EHR.
