DrPA Secure is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join our multidisciplinary team in a secure prison environment. You will deliver high-quality primary care to a diverse patient population with complex health and social needs, contributing to continuity of care and health improvements.
Applicants must hold GMC registration and a current licence to practise, with experience in primary care and safeguarding in secure settings.

As a GP in a prison setting, you will play a vital role in improving health outcomes for individuals who may have complex health and social care needs. Your work will help reduce health inequalities and ensure continuity of care in a challenging but rewarding environment.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
This post will require the holder to undertake and successfully complete the Counter Terrorism Clearance (CTC) process.
Please note, in order to apply, all applicants need to have been living in the United Kingdom (with residency in the UK, such as UK/Irish/EU Passport, or an Indefinite Leave to Remain Visa) for the last 5 years with no more than a 28 day break being outside of the UK and no gaps in employment during this time.
