Job summary

The Bank of England is seeking an experienced Sector Resilience and Response Manager to lead incident response, crisis management and operational resilience efforts within the Sector Resilience Division. Based in Leeds or London, you will guide two direct reports and drive improvements across the financial sector’s preparedness and response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Leading or supporting incident response or crisis management in complex environments.
• Designing or enhancing sector resilience capabilities.
• Familiarity with operational resilience, cyber resilience and risk management.
• Proven experience leading and developing individuals and teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management across organisational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement the ARF and CMBCG sector incident response frameworks.
• Ensure frameworks remain effective and aligned to evolving threats.
• Develop relationships with firms, authorities and other stakeholders for preparedness.
• Coordinate contingency planning, preparedness and readiness activities for sector responses.
• Provide leadership during live incidents affecting UK financial institutions.
• Identify lessons from incidents and exercises and translate them into improvements.
