Hyreus is recruiting an experienced Section Engineer to support a leading Tier One civil contractor on power and nuclear infrastructure projects in Wales. You will provide engineering support across designated sections, coordinating with site teams to ensure works align with designs, programmes, and quality requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong civils background, experience with major projects, and qualifications in Civil Engineering.

Competenze

• Experience as Section Engineer, Site Engineer or similar in civil or infrastructure.
• Strong background in major civils, preferably power or nuclear.
• Experience with Tier One contractors or large-scale projects is advantageous.
• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
• Knowledge of setting out, construction methods and QA.

• Provide engineering support across designated sections of civil projects.
• Set out and oversee construction works per drawings and specs.
• Ensure activities align with design intent and standards.
• Coordinate with Site Agents, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Review drawings and specs to identify potential issues.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and as-built surveys.
• Assist with RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Monitor progress and coordinate activities to programme.
• Resolve technical queries with design teams.
• Promote health, safety and quality on site.
