Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a driven Section Engineer for our North East Scotland projects. On-site in Aberdeenshire, you will lead technical activities, supervise engineers, and ensure safety and quality on major civil works that support Scotland’s energy future.

Qualifications

• Site engineer with Civil/structural background and proven performance on civil projects.
• Strong safety culture and ability to implement site procedures.
• SSSTS qualification and CSCS card required or in-scope equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Set a high personal example of safety and environmental behaviour.
• Coordinate with foremen and gangers for clear communication of instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of resources, tests, and daily diaries.
• Prepare 4-week programmes with the section foreman and monitor progress.
• Produce risk assessments and method statements for works.
