Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is partnering with Lambeth secondary schools to recruit qualified teachers for day-to-day supply roles starting in November 2026.

Jobs are flexible, offering you control over your availability while working across various school settings in Kingston upon Thames and surrounding areas. Roles involve delivering pre-planned lessons for KS3/KS4, maintaining a positive classroom, and safeguarding compliance.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
• Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Able to adapt to different school environments and teaching requirements.
• Committed to supporting positive outcomes for all students.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support student learning and engagement throughout lessons.
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
• Provide feedback to school staff when requested.

Secondary Supply Teacher (Day-to-Day)

Kingston upon Thames

£150 to £170 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Lambeth to recruit qualified teachers for day-to-day supply opportunities commencing in November 2026.

These flexible assignments provide an opportunity to work across a variety of school settings while maintaining control over your availability and work schedule.

The Role

Responsibilities may include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
• Supporting student learning and engagement throughout lessons.
• Following safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
• Providing feedback to school staff where requested.

Person Specification

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
• Have recent experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
• Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be able to adapt to different school environments and teaching requirements.
• Be committed to supporting positive outcomes for all students.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
