Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support schools across Chorley and surrounding areas. This agency offers flexible work and a range of long-term and permanent opportunities in SEN and mainstream settings.

You will be responsible for assisting teachers, supervising activities, and helping pupils access learning in a safe, supportive environment. A successful candidate will have Enhanced DBS and be willing to attend interviews.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS Disclosure
• Professional reference checks
• Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with safeguarding policy
• CV covering last 10 years of employment history and explanations for gaps
• Right to work in the UK
• Willingness to attend a registration interview

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in SEN and mainstream settings across Chorley and surrounding areas.
• Assist class teachers with planned activities and supervision.
