Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in Bradford schools. We welcome experienced TAs, graduates, and those with childcare or coaching backgrounds to apply.

This role supports pupils' learning and classroom inclusion. You will work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, support individuals and groups, encourage confidence and participation, and help with resources and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational, childcare, coaching or support setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, patient and proactive approach
• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates and those looking to begin a career in education are all warmly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons
• Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning
• Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and participation
• Supporting children with a range of learning needs, including SEND where required
• Helping to create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
• Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources
• Upholding safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times
