A leading education recruitment agency is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to make a positive impact in a Manchester secondary school. This full-time, term-time position involves working with students, including those with special educational needs, in a supportive environment. Axcis are currently looking for a motivated, experienced and resilient Teaching Assistant to work in secondary school in the Trafford area. Some of the children you'd be working with will have SEND. The role is full-time, term-time only, and initially offered on a temporary basis with a high likelihood of becoming permanent for the right candidate. You’ll be working closely with teaching staff across various subjects to provide in-class support, contribute to student progress, and help create a positive, engaging learning experience for all pupils. The school is located in a well-connected area that’s easy to reach whether you drive or travel by public transport. With ample parking on-site and excellent tram and bus links just a short walk away, commuting is straightforward and convenient. Key Requirements: - Available to work 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) - Working hours: 8:15 am – 3:15 pm - Previous experience in a UK secondary school school setting - Must hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS - A background in supporting students with SEN is advantageous This role is ideal for those with experience in education or those considering a future career in teaching.
