Job summary

Academics is seeking enthusiastic Secondary Teachers to join our team of supply teachers for work in Southampton and Portsmouth area schools.

You will deliver lessons across the key stages, either in a specialised subject or as general cover, with daily, short-term and long-term assignments available for this term and from September. A DBS check and reliable classroom management are required.

Qualifications

• Have recent teaching experience in UK schools
• Have a track record of success in driving up levels in teaching and learning
• Be available 2+ days a week for work
• Live within the Southampton area and be happy to travel and work in local schools
• Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Have a clear DBS

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across the key stages, either in a specialised subject or as a general cover
• Carry out engaging and exciting lessons to drive up levels of teaching and learning
• Take on daily, short‑term and long‑term cover in local Southampton/Portsmouth schools

Secondary Teachers - Southampton - September start

Academics are seeking enthusiastic and effective Secondary Teachers to join our team of hard working supply teachers to carry out various teaching assignments in Portsmouth and Hampshire Southampton schools.

We provide schools with daily, short and long term cover and also support with permanent recruitment so if you are available and looking for work for the rest of this term or in September, please get in touch. Whether you are looking for a few supply days a week, or looking to commit to a full‑time, long term contract with a view to securing a permanent position, we can help.

We are looking for experienced Secondary Teachers who are able to deliver lessons across the key stages, either in a specialised subject or as a general cover teacher.
