Job summary

A leading educational recruitment firm is seeking enthusiastic Secondary Teachers for various assignments in the Portsmouth and Hampshire area, starting in September. The role involves delivering engaging lessons and supporting schools with short and long-term cover. Ideal candidates will have recent UK teaching experience, strong classroom management skills, and be available for at least 2 days a week. Overview

Secondary Teacher - Portsmouth - September start

Academics are seeking enthusiastic and effective Secondary Teachers to join our team of hard working supply teachers to carry out various teaching assignments in Portsmouth and Hampshire Secondary schools.

We provide schools with daily, short and long term cover and also support with permanent recruitment so if you are available and looking for work for the rest of this term or in September, please get in touch.

Whether you are looking for a few supply days a week, or looking to commit to a full-time, long term contract with a view to securing a permanent position, we can help.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across the key stages, either in a specialised subject or as a general cover teacher.
• Carry out engaging and exciting lessons to drive up the levels of teaching and learning in our local schools.

Requirements

• Have recent teaching experience in UK schools
• Have a track record of success in driving up levels in teaching and learning
• Be available 2+ days a week for work
• Live within the Hampshire area and be happy to travel and work in Portsmouth schools
• Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Have a clear DBS
